This InGen creation was possible due to fossils and remains found all over the world!

The found fossils of Amphicyon in different continents tell the tale of its migration across the world, as its population spread.

Despite common traits with today's large cats, its posterior legs are not meant for sprints and quick bursts of speed. Scientists theorize it behaved much more like an ambush predator.

Amphicyon fossils had trouble being correctly identified due to size differences among the samples. It has only recently been corrected after identifying male and female remains.
