Description

Inostrancevia is the largest known Gorgonopsidae, an ancient family of saber-toothed predators. This carnivore has highly developed canine teeth, which are put to work while hunting its preferred meal, Scutosaurus. Unfortunately for Inostrancevia, Scutosaurus’ armored body is difficult for even a saber-tooth to penetrate.
