Procoptodon lived in Australia during the Pleistoscene, surviving until about 50,000 years ago.
Each front paw of the Procoptodon has two extra-long fingers used to grab the foliage it eats.
One type of Procoptodon, P. goliah, stood up to 8-10 feet (2.7-3.3 meters) tall, making it the largest kangaroo to ever live!
Many scientists believe the Procoptodon is directly related to the modern day Banded hare-wallaby.
