Description
Stegoceratops was a herbivore hybrid dinosaur designed by Dr. Henry Wu as a potential attraction for Jurassic World, although it never featured in the park. Its name means 'roof-horned face'.
Discovery
Stegoceratops is a hybrid based on Stegosaurus and Triceratops DNA. Modern DNA from beetle and snake genomes were also used.
Paleoecology
Although Stegoceratops is an engineered hybrid, it would share a similar ecology to its source species.
