It was originally thought that Thalassodromeus would skim feed, like a pelican, but we now know that to be false.

Thalassodromeus likely hunted on the ground, like the modern stork.

T. Sethi is named after the egyptian god Set, due to the namer confusing a picture of Amun (who wears the pharoah's headdress) for Set.
