Facts

Suchodus is closely related to another extinct crocodyliform, the Metriorhynchus.
Two different species of Suchodus existed during the Middle and Late Jurassic period.
Suchodus measures about 13 feet (4 meters) long, but scientists believe the creature could potentially grow up to 15 feet (4.6 meters)!
Suchodus fossils have only been found in England and France. Other Metriorhynchid fossils have been found across Europe, North and South America.
