The Shunosaurus is one of the smaller sauropods, with a characteristically short neck. An adult can grow up to 31 feet in length!
To defend against threats, the Shunosaurus has a clubbed tail equipped with 2 inch long spikes which it can swing like a flail.
With its extremely narrow and pointed skull, the Shunosaurus' upper and lower jaws function like garden shears.
